Speaking and Training

Is your team prepared for eating disorder clients, eating disorder clients with co-occurring Dissociative Identity Disorder, or longstanding eating disorders?

These are my therapeutic specialties and I teach other clinicians how treat it.

Angela Harris, LCSW, CED-C, EMDR CIT trains clinicians, students, educators, and more on how to screen for eating disorders and the foundations for treating these complex and serious mental health conditions.

Angela specializes in the overlap of eating disorders and co-occurring Dissocitiave Identity Disorder and can equip your team to work with this population. Angela’s specialized background in treating complex childhood trauma and dissociation uniquely strengthens her in treating this complex co-occurring set of diagnoses.

Longstanding eating disorders show up more frequently than most clinicians expect and can be challenging to know where to start. Angela’s history of treating eating disorders across levels of care includes working with longstanding eating disorder cases from a harm reduction and person-centered approach.

Talking about longstanding eating disorders is so important and something nobody wants to discuss. This was really helpful and practical!
